How far is 5K?

5 kilometres is just over three miles, which isn't that much further than when you walk your dog, go sightseeing or go on a shopping trip in Leeds City Centre, finishing at the Corn Exchange.

 

How far is 10K?

10 kilometres is just over six miles, which may sound a little daunting, but is an achievable challenge for anyone with a bit of training.

 

Top tips when preparing for the Bramham Park Fun Run 

  • Wear comfy shoes and make sure your feet are well supported.

  • If you're a beginner, gradually increase the time you exercise for.

  • Train with friends and help motivate each other.

  • Whether you walk, run or dance, go at a conversational pace.

  • Remember to warm up and cool down before and after any exercise.

  • A balanced diet will help you feel great.

  • It's important to stay hydrated before, during and after exercise.

  • Remember to stay SunSmart when you're training and keep covered up.
